I wanted to reach out to you personally, because you deserve to hear this from me directly. Many of you have been in my chair for years — you've shared your lives with me, and I've shared mine with you. That doesn't feel like a small thing, and I don't want to treat it like one.

About two weeks ago, I had surgery to address a serious health challenge that I am facing head-on. I will be away from the salon while I focus on healing, and I want you to know that I'm okay — and that I'm in good hands.

Before stepping away, I went through my entire client list personally. I made individual recommendations for each of you based on your hair, your services, and who I genuinely believe will be the best fit while I'm gone. These are stylists I work alongside every day and trust completely. You are not being passed to a stranger — you are being placed with someone I chose for you.

Beautique has taken extraordinary care of me during this time, and there is actually something beautiful in it — every time one of you comes in for a service, purchases a retail product, or books a treatment while I'm away, a portion goes directly to supporting me during my recovery. So in a very real way, by taking care of yourselves, you are also taking care of me. That means more than I can express.

Your loyalty and kindness over the years mean everything to me. I am so lucky to do what I love, with people like you. I look forward to being back behind the chair and seeing all of you again.
